NTUK procurement - invitation to quote for 'Discovery' phase of website

Over the course of this next year, National Trails UK is evolving in to more of a public facing organisation. This is to better deliver for the National Trails, and to better deliver our strategy: strengthen the National Trails, advocate on their behalf, and inspire more different people to enjoy the National Trails while building our organisational resilience.

A core part of this will be a public engagement programme, centred around a new National Trails UK website, which for the first time will bring together the 21 National Trails and designated long distance routes in England, Wales and Scotland. After some initial scoping work conducted this year, we know we have an opportunity to create a website that meets the needs of the National Trails and Designated Long-Distance Routes, the diverse needs of a wider range of current and potential National Trail visitors, funders and corporate partners, and supports income generation for the National Trails and NTUK.

We're inviting quotes from website designers and developers to run the 'Discovery' phase of this work. This will mean working alongside NTUK and our stakeholders to produce a detailed Discovery report which will identify the 'minimum viable product' for this new website and second-phase priority functionality. We have created a detailed Invitation to Quote document for those interested in the work, which you'll find at the bottom of this page.

NB: the Invitation to Quote was updated on 28th April to include more detail about what we expect to see in a quote, and to include a reference to AI in the 'Requirements' section.

We have a budget of £15,000 inc VAT for this work. If you are interested in providing a quote, please send a document outlining your response to the brief by midnight on 14th May to polly@nationaltrails.uk. We will then shortlist on 18th May, interview (if required) on 21st May, and aim to appoint by 22nd May. Best of luck!
